Nowadays we are facing a globalized world, us the generation born in the globalized world, we take things as obvious and consider a normal thing the huge development that had taken place since 1950’s. Those changes connected the world and opened borders, as a result from the necessity of communicating with each other we give importance to learning different languages, but this is really necessary?

For people nowadays is compulsory to learn English at school as an extra language, the main reason is that English is the common language so to understand what is happening in other parts of the world and to communicate with different you will need English. Also learning other languages is practical and makes you a versatile and resourceful person and finally as much languages you learn more are the possibilities of getting hired and to get better jobs.

In the other hand learning another language is quite complicated specially if their origin is different from your native one so you will need to invest a lot of your time to learn this language and there are some languages that are not worth it to learn due that it has not the same utility as other languages.

Overall I think that learning a language is always useful and there is a famous quote that says `` to reach someone soul you have to speak them into their native language´´ and it is also important to learn languages to keep culture alive and to maintain the legacy of our culture and our ancestors, there is also a quote for this topic`` a language is a way to see the world, when a language disappears it also disappears a way to see the world´´ .
